International Humanitarian Efforts

The Rotary club of Springfield Metro is proud to have established active, ongoing relationships with many organizations in the Springfield community to provide humanitarian efforts on an International scale.

In Tlaquepaque, Mexico:

  • Our members purchased and provided three laptops to the local orphanage.
  • Provided shoes for each of the children in the orphanage.
  • Provided and installed eighty water filters for schools and orphanages in the targeted region.
  • Donated a ECG monitor and a defibrillator to a local medical clinic.

Thanks to our Community partners Mercy Hospital and The Springfield Chamber of Commerce.

In Haiti:

  • Donated twenty water filters to an orphanage and the surrounding community.
  • Helped build a concrete fence at the future site of a community school that will house 467 kids.
  • Identified a critical need for clean water and we have embarked on an aggressive campaign to provided six hundred filters through our board and membership in the coming years.

Thanks to our community Partners The Springfield Chamber of Commerce, Convoy of Hope, Mercy Hospital, and The NewLife Assembly of God Church.

What seems so little to us can help so much in these impoverished communities. We look forward to even bigger contributions in the years to come.
